Project Management and Leadership For Climate Change is one of my greatest experiences on becoming the documentation team on LSPRTV. Me and Media Centre team from LSPR are asked to make a documentary film on this project, which includes young leaders from all over the world, gathered at Bogor to discuss on how they can participate on the climate change issues. It was a project held by The British Council due to their concern on Global Warming. The activities was training for the participants on how to make a project to fight Global Warming and Climate change. It is a continuous project that is held every year, on 2007 it was held at Bali, 2008 at Bogor, and 2009 at Japan and Poland.
I was still at the third semester of my study at LSPR, but Media Centre had given me the opportunity to work with them on this big project. Not everyone on the club could get this opportunity, only seven people chosen and I was the youngest of them. The rest of the people on the team were already a staff for LSPR Media Centre and I was still a second year student. It was a ten days project from 20 August until 29 august 2008 and was took place at Gunung Geulis, Bogor.
It was really nice to meet and to know young people from all over the world. I met activists from Japan, Korea, English, Vietnam, and many more. The thing is that I did not feel it as a work for me because I enjoyed every second of it. Film, Documentary, traveling, socializing, I got it all on one project which I love to do so. This is what I call ‘work hard play hard’, which is to feel your work as if you are playing (from my opinion). Nothing will get in your way of work, you will accomplish all your work on just a snap. Because we love to do our job and we do not have any reasons to not finish our work. As the result it will be a great creation of yours and your team. When you work it nicely without any burden.
